Palila in the Urban Wild
“Palila in the Urban Wild” is an urban “bird watching” treasure hunt where players travel through urban centers across the state of Hawaiʻi searching for Palila stickers in celebration of Earth Day 2021.
On Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi Island, and Maui, teams will follow clues to “collect” bird sightings by taking pictures and posting on Instagram of Palila stickers hidden in various locations. Grand prizes will be awarded to winning teams on each island, sponsored by Conservation Council for Hawaii, National Wildlife Federation, Hawaii Forest and Trail, and Laurie Sumiye Studio.
In-person teams are limited per island, and can host up to 5 players. Team captains must register their team by 4/19/21. The event will also be live streamed, participants at home can also play online to win prizes and follow the action on the ground.
The Registrant (Team Captain) will be the point of contact for us to communicate with your team. Mahalo!!!
